Michaela Williams promoted at Stylist Arabia

Michaela Williams has been appointed to the newly created role of Lifestyle, Fashion and Beauty Director for Stylist Arabia. Previously holding the role of Acting Lifestyle Editor at the Arab Publishing Partners’ (APP) weekly title, Michaela boasts years of editorial experience in women’s lifestyle, having worked across publications including Good Housekeeping Middle East, Qantas The Australian Way and Cosmopolitan Australia, as well as editing beauty blog Lather Rinse Repeat.

Cressida Meale moves across to Stylist Arabia

Cressida Meale has been appointed as the new Deputy Editor for Stylist Arabia. Having held the position of Deputy Editor for Grazia Middle East since 2013, Cressida has worked across a number of publications including Motilo.com and Vogue Turkey. She now moves across to the weekly women’s magazine at Arab Publishing Partners (APP), which is part of the ITP Group.

Grazia Middle East welcomes new Deputy Editor

Grazia Middle East has welcomed Elle Blakeman as its new Deputy Editor. Joining the team from London, Elle brings an impressive range of editorial experience to her new role, having worked at a number of publications including Marie Claire, InStyle and Harper’s Bazaar. Prior to joining Grazia Middle East, Elle was with Runwild Media Group where she was Editor for monthly luxury lifestyle title The Mayfair Magazine and The Mayfair Magazine Arabic, overseeing and planning across the magazine in addition to being heavily involved in developing its shape, from tone to layout.

In her new position, Elle will be supporting Editor-in-Chief Alison Tay to produce the weekly luxury fashion title.

Alexander Pieri joins Facilities Management ME

Alexander Sophoclis Pieri has been appointed as the Deputy Editor for Facilities Management Middle East. Bringing a wide range of editorial experience to the ITP Publishing team, Alexander most recently held the position of Contributor and Freelance Writer for Forbes Middle East and prior to this was the Technology Editor for the aforementioned magazine. In his new role, he will manage the editorial content for the monthly B2B publication.

Cosmopolitan Middle East welcomes new Editor

Cosmopolitan Middle East’s Brooke Sever has been promoted to the position of Editor of the lifestyle publication, where she previously held the Deputy Editor role. Bringing extensive editorial experience to her new position, Brooke has been a part of the ITP Publishing team for the past four years, first as Editor for Sound & Stage magazine and then as Features Editor for Ahlan!, before moving on to Cosmopolitan Middle East.

Harper’s Bazaar Arabia fashion partner of DIFF

Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, published by ITP Publishing, has partnered with Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) as the festival’s official fashion partner to create the Bazaar Best Dressed Studio, uniting the worlds of film and fashion.

From December 10-17, the most stylish attendees at DIFF screenings, premieres and official parties will be invited into Harper Bazaar’s bespoke studio, located next to the red carpet at Madinat Jumeirah, where they will be photographed for an exclusive, dedicated pull-out section in the magazine’s January collector’s edition showcasing the most stylish looks worn on the DIFF red carpet.

“DIFF has a fantastic track record in bringing cinematic talent to Dubai,” says Louise Nichol, Editor-In-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. “And now, as the region’s leading fashion publication, Harper’s Bazaar will be harnessing the glamour and style of the event by shining an international spotlight on the red carpet.”

Taking place in partnership with Harvey Nichols – Dubai, the initiative will elevate the profile of the film festival’s glamorous attendees and red carpet style.

The content shot during the festival in the Bazaar Best Dressed Studio will feature heavily in the printed January issue of Harper’s Bazaar, with video content on the iPad edition and daily updates on social media.

Shaheen Nouman joins ITP’s Hospitality Group

Shaheen Nouman has joined ITP Publishing’s Hospitality Group as Staff Writer. Most recently, Shaheen assisted the team on Ahlan! Arabia, and prior to this held a role in marketing and communications with Dubai-based, high-fashion retailer ValleyDez. Shaheen is also a Founding Member of fashion, lifestyle and fitness blog Cherry Cross. In her new role, Shaheen will produce content – both in print and online – across the Hospitality Group’s titles which include Hotelier Middle East, Caterer Middle East and Arabian Travel News. In addition to this, Shaheen will participate in the organisation and execution of various events and conferences held by the Hospitality Group throughout the year.

Maddi Glendinning joins Harper’s Bazaar Arabia

Maddi Glendinning has joined the team at Harper’s Bazaar Arabia as Features Writer. Having been with ITP Publishing since the beginning of this year, Maddi was most recently Lifestyle Editor/Sub Editor at Grazia Middle EastGrazia Bahrain and Grazia Luxury. In her new position, she will cover content across fashion and beauty for the Middle Eastern edition of the luxury lifestyle magazine.

Last issue of Good Housekeeping ME to hit stands

The publication of Good Housekeeping Middle East is officially being brought to a close after the December issue. Launched December 1, 2011, Good Housekeeping Middle East has brought the latest tried and tested advice on fashion, beauty, food and home from across the region. Backed by the Good Housekeeping Research Institute and Good Housekeeping Seal, the publication has had a monthly circulation of 15,000 copies distributed throughout the UAE and GCC under Editor-in-Chief Lena ter Laare.

 

 

Celia-Jane Ukwenya joins Harper’s Bazaar Arabia

Celia-Jane Ukwenya has taken on the role of Acting Fashion and Beauty Director at Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. With extensive experience across the fashion industry, Celia-Jane previously held the positions of Fashion and Beauty Editor at L’Officiel Middle East as well as Contributing Fashion and Beauty Editor for Velvet magazine. Most recently, Celia-Jane has contributed on a freelance basis for Elle, Marie Claire, Condé Nast Traveller, Velvet, Time Out Dubai and Emirates Woman.

Boasting an expansive stylist résumé across the UAE, she has worked as a fashion stylist on shoots for Grazia, L’Officiel and Harper’s Bazaar, to name but a few. In addition to this, Celia-Jane has styled on fashion shows such as Harper’s Bazaar World of Fashion, advertising campaigns for Emirates Airlines, Harvey Nichols, The Address Hotels and Level ShoeDistrict, and TV commercials for Saadiyat and Maggi. Celia-Jane temporarily takes over the role of Fashion and Beauty Director from Sally Matthews, who had been in the position since 2007.
