Confectionary brand, Saadeddin has appointed UM MENA’s Saudi Arabia office to handle all of its media business operations across the region. The national Saudi company, which was launched in 1976 and currently operates over 130 branches in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait, specialises in producing and marketing chocolates as well as Arabic and western pastries. UM MENA will be working on expanding the brand’s market across the GCC countries starting with the launch of their media campaigns in May. This will involve full service media strategy, buying and planning with a focus on print, OOH, TV and radio.
“Winning Saadeddin’s media business is a significant milestone for us in KSA especially at a time where companies are being cautious and focusing on ROI more than ever,” says Khalil Arouni, MD, UM MENA, Saudi Arabia. “We are elated to embark on a new venture with them and look forward to launching many successful campaigns this year.”
