New Editorial Director at Arabian Business

ITP Media Group has appointed Jeremy Lawrence to the role of Editorial Director of Arabian Business. With a wealth of experience in journalism, Jeremy joined ITP Media Group in 2003 and has worked across its titles including Time Out Dubai as Editor and Esquire Middle East as Editor-in-Chief. In his new role, he will oversee the brand development of Arabian Business across its digital and print portfolio.

Bauer Works welcomes Vineetha Menon

Bauer Works has appointed Vineetha Menon to the role of Digital Editor. Vineetha has worked with several local media brands including Aficionado, Dubai Calendar and ITP Media Group’s publication, Time Out Dubai. She most recently worked with NPI Media as Senior Editor, where she worked across the Concierge luxury and lifestyle portfolio. In her new role, she will work with the content team at the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) for VisitDubai.com and related channels with the aim of ensuring visitors remain up to date on the best places to eat, where to shop, things to do and what to experience while in Dubai.

New appointments at Time Out GCC

Time Out Abu Dhabi welcomes Paul Clifford to the role of Editor. Formerly Group Editor of Guides and Food, Paul will now lead the team of Deputy Editor, Liz Cookman; Food Editor, Vanessa Fitter and Section Editor, Chris Maxwell. Shaikh Saleh, previously Digital Marketing Executive for the Time Out GCC group will now take on a new role, which will focus specifically on Time Out Abu Dhabi.

Following Melanie Smith’s appointment as Deputy Editor in January 2017 and Tim Skinner’s appointment as Deputy Digital Editor in March, Time Out Dubai has appointed Amy Mathieson, former Guides Editor at Time Out GCC, to the role of Food and Features Editor. Previously Editor at Time Out Doha, Sofia Vyas joins the Dubai team as Music & Nightlife and Art Editor. The new members will work with the existing team of Editor, Holly Sands; Digital Content Executive, Jeffrey Casiño and Editorial Assistant, Rodelito Mamuad.

Soho Communications launches in the UAE

PR professionals Peta Thorpe-Evans and Chloe Ragg have teamed up to launch new communications agency, Soho Communications. With experience in the PR and marketing industry, Peta previously worked as Marketing Director at Praias Boutique and recently as a freelance PR, Social Media and Marketing Consultant across a portfolio of clients such as MA Models, Lucia Clinic and Vii Dubai.

Chloe brings with her, experience in media and PR having worked with Gulf News Broadcasting, Time Out Dubai andcurrently as Managing Director of Fox and Hound Communications. The new agency will operate as a PR, social media and events consultancy with a focus on lifestyle and hospitality clientele across the UAE.

New Deputy Digital Editor at Time Out Dubai

Time Out Dubai, part of ITP Media Group has appointed Tim Skinner to the role of Deputy Digital Editor. With experience in the UK’s media industry, Tim previously worked with Telecoms.com as Features Editor before relocating to Dubai. In his new role he will join the digital team and contribute towards the brand’s growth across the Middle East, working with PRs to secure exclusive content and cross-platform projects.

Time Out Dubai Announces 2017 awards date

Time Out Dubai is set to host its eighth annual Music & Nightlife Awards on March 29, 2017 at the Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre. With the nominees to be revealed on March 8 exclusively on timeoutdubai.com, the award event will see high profile figures in the music and nightlife circuit in attendance to celebrate the past 12 months of independent reviews of the restaurant and nightlife industries across Dubai. The winners will be announced at the end of the event followed by an exclusive after-party that will take place at the Cavalli Club.

Time Out welcomes Dominic Beesley

Time Out Dubai, part of ITP Publishing, has welcomed Dominic Beesley to the role of Music and Nightlife Editor. Dominic was previously Junior Features Writer at Hype magazine, part of Motivate Publishing. In his new role, he will be handling the Music and Nightlife section of Time Out Dubai, which will include researching, writing and editing articles, interviews and features as well as assisting to organise events such as the Time Out Dubai Music and Nightlife Awards.

Time Out welcomes new Digital Editor

Time Out, part of ITP Publishing, has welcomed Alex Dunham to the role of Digital Editor. An experienced Journalist and Videographer, Alex has over eight years of international experience with media companies in Spain, Italy, the UK and South Africa, where he most recently worked as a freelance Video Journalist. In his new role, he will work on digital content for the Time Out brand. 

McGettigan’s Group welcomes Chanelle Tourish

Chanelle Tourish has joined the McGettigan’s Group as PR and Communication Manager. With over six years of experience in journalism and PR, Chanelle previously worked for Time Out Dubai, part of ITP Publishing, as Music and Nightlife Editor. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing all public relations and communications for the McGettigan’s brand around the world.

New Deputy Editor joins Time Out Dubai

Amy Mathieson has joined ITP Publishing as Deputy Editor, Guides for Time Out Dubai. Previously a News Editor at Horse and Hound Magazine, part of Time Inc UK, Amy brings over nine years of experience in journalism to her new role. As Deputy Editor, Guides, she will be responsible for all of the supplements produced alongside the weekly lifestyle publication.
