Vogue Arabia makes new appointment 

Vogue Arabia has appointed Ravi Raman to the role of Associate Publisher. With over 20 years of experience in content strategy, revenue generation and brand marketing, he has previously worked with Bloomberg Businessweek Middle East and The Telegraph and most recently worked with Khaleej Times where he held the role of Senior Vice President. In his new role, he will deliver influential content and brand experience for readers.

Arab News welcomes new Columnist

Saudi Arabian daily newspaper, Arab News has welcomed Frank Kane to the role of Columnist. With over 25 years of experience in business journalism in the UK, Frank has worked across various titles including The Financial Times, The Telegraph and Sunday Times and most recently in the UAE as Senior Business Correspondent at The National. In his new role, he will write a bi-weekly column on regional business affairs that will be published on Mondays and Thursdays on the Arab News portal.

Daniel Higgins joins ITP

ITP Publishing Group has welcomed Daniel Higgins to the role of Fashion Editor of Esquire Middle East. With experience in writing and styling, Daniel previously worked with The Telegraph, D’Marge and Recognise magazine in the UK and most recently Head of the Luxury and Style division for clients including; Caprice Holdings and Harry’s of London. In his new role, he will be overseeing all style content for the print, digital and event Esquire Middle East platforms as well as the Big Black Book.

Danae Mercer joins Motivate

Danae Mercer has joined the Motivate team as Features Editor. Most recently, Danae worked as a freelance journalist in London, contributing to a range of features across titles that included USA TodayThe GuardianThe IndependentThe TelegraphMarie Claire and THE. Simultaneously, Danae was Account Manager for financial and corporate PR firm Kwittken & Company, where she managed highly technical international accounts. In her new position, Danae will work primarily on Jumeirah, with a focus on lifestyle and luxury.
