House of Comms promotes Jessica Croucher

Integrated communications agency, House of Comms has promoted Senior Account Manager Jessica Croucher to the role of Account Director. With a wealth of experience in communications, Jessica previously worked at TBWA in the UK as Account Manager where she handled brands such as Nissan and Pictet while managing digital, social, radio and print campaigns. In her new role, she will help bring dynamic creative optimisation to the Middle East market and respond to clients’ needs.

POP Communications makes new appointment

Dubai-based public relations and influencer marketing agency, POP Communications has appointed Collen Dumani-Mlalazi to the role of Visual Artist. As a recent graduate from Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus, Collen most recently worked as a freelance graphic designer and videographer. In his new role, he will balance events and office related tasks while applying his knowledge in the arts to all projects.

Catch Communications launches in the UAE

New communications agency, Catch Communications launches in the UAE. Founded by Injeel Moti, the agency has signed D1 Milano, The Face Shop and Horizon Hospitality as its first clients and will work to expand its reach across the UAE and wider Middle East region.

New Editor-in-Chief at Motoraty

Online automotive magazine, Motoraty.com has appointed Ahmad Al-Nashash to the role of Editor-in-Chief. With over six years of experience in the automotive media and PR industry, Ahmad previously worked with various online platforms catering to the automotive industry including Yallamotor.com, DriveArabia.com and most recently Petrolheadarabia.com. In his new role, Ahmad will be responsible for creating engaging and creative automotive content covering all key happenings in the industry across the UAE, while building the platform to make it a one-stop-shop for all things automotive.

PHD MENA expands into  Egypt

Dubai-based media and communications agency, PHD MENA has launched its Cairo office as part of its expansion plan across the Middle East. Egypt being its fifth location in the Middle East, the new office aims to offer strategic, digital and creative expertise and build on business partnerships with regional and international clients. The launch will see the appointment of Nour Eldin Saleh to handle operations in the Cairo office as General Manager bringing with him experience working with companies such as Starcom and Mindshare.

New Deputy Editor at A&E Magazine

Lindsay Judge has joined fashion and lifestyle title A&E Magazine as Deputy Editor. Having previously worked as Fashion & Beauty Editor at Gulf News since November 2014, and as Fashion & Beauty Editor at Ahlan! Magazine, part of ITP Publishing before that, Lindsay brings a wealth of experience. Lindsay will work alongside Editor-in-Chief Lara Mansour Sawaya compiling features and fashion shoots for the monthly title.

RBBi wins Seamless Award

Digital marketing agency, Red Blue Blur Ideas was recognised at the Seamless Awards that took place on April 15, 2018 at JW Marriott Marquis, Dubai.
