Fox + Hound Communications launches

Fox + Hound Communications, a Dubai-based communications firm specialising in traditional and non-traditional public relations and influencer marketing, has launched.

Fox + Hound Communications will provide PR across the lifestyle, food, beverage, health and fitness industries, along with key events around the UAE. The influencer marketing side of the firm will work with brands to procure talent for campaigns, both locally and internationally. Fox + Hound will also work with key talent to build their brands and obtain more work in their fields. The firm will be headed up by Managing Director Chloe Rees, who most recently worked for ITP Publishing  as Senior Advertising Manager for Time Out Dubai and Time Out Muscat.

Maryanne Haggas has joined PRCo Dubai as Senior Account Executive. Maryanne brings with her extensive experience in PR, advertising and branding, having worked with large PR and advertising agencies in the region, including Havas Worldwide Middle East, Goodley PR and, most recently, Insignia. Advertyze Network launches

Leo Burnett Beirut wins three Facebook Awards

Leo Burnett Beirut represented their region as the only Middle Eastern company to receive Facebook Awards in 2015. The agency won both Gold (New Frontier) and Silver (Facebook for Good) awards for their work with non-governmental women’s rights organisation, KAFA, as well as a second Silver (New Frontier) award for their ‘Keep Walking Lebanon’ campaign for Johnny Walker. Other international recipients of the Facebook Awards included Droga5, McCann Lima and LA RED.

The Facebook Awards were established to celebrate the best creative work on Facebook, as chosen by leading creatives in the industry. They recognise excellence in campaign execution, as well as creative growth and evolution on Facebook, with judges looking for inspired work that challenges industry attitudes towards content publishing. A party will be held on June 24, 2015 in Cannes to celebrate the winners of this year’s awards.
