M&C Saatchi PR expands into the UAE

Public relations agency, M&C Saatchi PR, part of M&C Saatchi has opened its UAE offices as a part of its expansion plan into the region. The new PR division will increase M&C Saatchi’s existing businesses in the UAE and offer clients across the region a range of fully integrated creative communications services. The new launch will also see the appointment of Amy Brill to the role of Head of PR, having worked with clients such as Hilton, Kimberly Clark and Kenya’s Ministry of Tourism, Amy brings with her a solid background in brand and multi-markets. In her new role, she will head all PR operations at the Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices reporting to the Global CEO at M&C Saatchi PR, Molly Aldridge, as well as drive new business growth and ensure the delivery of quality and creative work.

Debonaironline.com launches new look

Dubai-based media company, Pinpoint Media Group has re-launched its men’s online lifestyle publication, debonaironline.com. The revamped website will include an expanded e-commerce platform to offer a range of clothing, footwear, accessory and grooming products. The platform will also feature a stronger synergy between the magazine’s editorial content and products in its online store for its readers, suppliers and advertisers to access from across the region.

One – Source launches in the UAE

PR professional Sharon Fernz has launched new marketing and PR agency, One – Source in the UAE. With over 12 years of experience in the PR and marketing industry, Sharon previously worked in India with Lowe Lintas as Account Manager, at Ogilvy Public Relations as Account Coordinator and most recently in Dubai with RSA Logistics as Assistant Manager – Brand and PR. The Dubai-based agency will offer services that include media relations, strategic partnerships, brand sustainability campaigns, copywriting, content creation and concept development to clients across the UAE. New launch at House of Comms

Dubai-based integrated communications agency, House of Comms has launched new creative division, experiential. The new division will focus on helping clients build their brands using non-traditional, high-impact and event management solutions. The launch of the new division will also see the appointment of Laura McCartney as Head of experiential, bringing with her over seven years of experience and having previously worked with Edelman Dabo as Account Director. In her new role she will work across House of Comms’ portfolio of clients and oversee the experiential operations as well as the development of creative strategies for the new division.

Founded by media personality, Paris Norriss, Guyindubai.com’s YouTube channel is now live. Featuring Paris himself, experimenting and trying out extreme sports and challenges in Dubai as well as covering the city’s top social events, the channel aims to serve as a guide for residents and tourists alike.

AL Publishing launches online video channel

Dubai-based Arabic publishing company, AL Publishing has launched new online video channel, al-video.com. al-video.com is an online portal that aims to enhance Arabic digital content by focusing on video coverage of news and events across various fields including business, technology, travel, hospitality, culture and arts across the GCC region. PR professionals Peta Thorpe-Evans and Chloe Ragg have teamed up to launch new communications agency, Soho Communications. With experience in the PR and marketing industry, Peta previously worked as Marketing Director at Praias Boutique and recently as a freelance PR, Social Media and Marketing Consultant across a portfolio of clients such as MA Models, Lucia Clinic and Vii Dubai.
