New Managing Director at MullenLowe MENA

Dubai-based integrated marketing communications group, MullenLowe MENA has promoted Matthew Butterworth to the role of Managing Director. Having joined MullenLowe MENA in 2016 as Regional Director of Digital and Integration, Matthew has over 20 years of experience and previously worked in the UK with McCann EMEA as Director of Digital Strategy and Publicis as the Digital Strategy Director. In his new role, he will work on creating a stronger integration and consumer driven creativity through data-driven experiences across every touchpoint to produce results.

Plan b welcomes Samer Alloush

Dubai-based marketing and events company, Plan b has appointed Samer Alloush to the role of Business Development Manager – Events. With over 11 years of experience in the media industry, Samer previously worked at ITP Media Group as Senior Sales Manager across titles Refining & Petrochemicals ME, Oil & Gas ME, Utilities ME as well as Oil & Gas Al Arabiya before joining APP Publishing, to work on OK! Middle East. In his most recent position as Senior Sales Manager at The Week, part of Motivate Publishing, he focused on selling advertising space along with events sponsorship.

At Plan B, he will work closely with the event management team and clients to increase market share and revenue within government and corporate organisations, as well as develop proposals, quotations and negotiate terms to secure sales opportunities.

ITP Live announces talent signings

ITP Media Group’s new digital division, ITP Live, has announced the signing of 26 key personalities to its influencer agency, including designers, YouTube stars, business thought leaders, models, beauty ambassadors, fashionistas, an Olympian and a 15-year old sneaker aficionado. It will now represent and oversee all commercial deals for Abdulla Al Abdulla, Afra AlMarri, Aishwarya Ajit, Ali Al Jassmii, Aljuhara Sajer, AlReem Saif, Andy Scott, Elnaz Golrokh, Gehna Advani, Hala Abdallah, Hamid Fadaei, John Marques, Khalid AlAmeri, Mariam Yeya, Max Bouchard, Michel Salgado, Nadine Du Toit, Naomi D’Souza, Nina Ali, Nina Zandnia, Omar Al Busaidy, Rashid Belhasa, Rosemin Manji, Searina Abdel Kader, Zeynab El-Helw and Zoe Bowker.

House of Comms appoints new Account Executive

Dubai-based integrated communications agency, House of Comms has appointed Olivia Lee Ray to the role of Account Executive. A graduate from University of Leeds with a degree in Communications Studies, Olivia has previous PR experience in the F&B, lifestyle and the travel industry. In her new role, she will work on House of Comms’ client accounts as well as assist with social media campaigns across all platforms.

Naomi Chadderton joins Dubai agency

Dubai-based PR agency, MCS Action, part of Action Global Communications has appointed Naomi Chadderton to the role of Editorial Manager. With eight years of editorial experience, Naomi most recently worked on Ahlan! magazine as Fashion and Beauty Editor and has extensive experience in the region, having also worked as Editor for The Dubai Mall Magazine, Fashion Editor for Conceirge magazine and Junior Fashion & Beauty Editor at Grazia Middle East. In her new role, she will work across content creation for the agency’s consumer and lifestyle clients.

New Account Manager at Impact Porter Novelli

Dubai-based PR agency, Impact Porter Novelli has appointed Laura Vessier to the role of Account Manager. With over six years of experience, Laura previously worked with Porter Novelli Paris as Junior PR Consultant and most recently in Dubai with Top Chef Cooking Studio as Business Development Coordinator. In her new role, she will oversee and manage Robinsons and P&G beauty brands including Gillette, Gillette Venus and Braun.

Mitch Williams joins Serviceplan Middle East

Dubai-based integrated communications agency, Serviceplan Middle East has appointed Mitch Williams to the role of Social Media Director. With experience in the media industry, Mitch previously worked with Wunderman MENA as Social Media Brand Manager and most recently with Create Media Group as Social Media Director where he managed the social media division and drove the overall direction of the clients. In his new role, he will head the agency’s social media division and lead the strategic direction of the company offering while growing and managing the social media team.

New Junior Account Executive at House of Comms

Dubai-based integrated communications agency, House of Comms has appointed Malak Hussein to the role of Junior Account Executive. A recent graduate of the American University in the Emirates, Malak holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and E-commerce. In her new role, she will join the social media team and work across House of Comm’s portfolio of Arabic-focused clients to further strengthen the regional Arabic team.

Panache welcomes new Agency Director

UAE-based events and production agency, Panache Middle East has appointed Aniysha Seyfferdt to the role of Agency Director. With over 13 years of experience, Aniysha previously worked with Landmark Group as Marketing Manager and most recently at Collyer Lessick as Event Projects Manager. Following the rebrand of the agency’s XPRNC arm to Panache XPRNC, the agency will include management for corporate event services and will see Aniysha oversee its operations as well as manage its conceptualisation and activities of high profile events across the Middle East.

BNC Publishing makes new promotion

Media production and digital house, BNC Publishing has promoted Crystal Chesters to the role of Group Editor for hospitality titles. Former Editor of Hotelier Middle East at ITP Media Group and most recently, Editor at BNC Publishing for Catering News Middle East, Crystal will now oversee the editorial growth and development for both hospitality publications under BNC – Catering News Middle East and Hotel News Middle East as well as digital content, events and awards.
