ITP welcomes new Sales Manager

Anneka Healy has joined ITP Publishing as Sales Manager for Cosmopolitan Middle East. Formerly Senior Sales Executive for the Emirates Woman Group at Motivate Publishing, Anneka has over two years of media experience which she will bring to her new role. As Sales Manager, she will be responsible for all sponsorship and advertising revenue as well developing client relationships for the monthly women’s lifestyle publication.

Motivate Publishing appoints new Associate Editor

Lyndsey Steven has been promoted to Associate Editor of the Emirates Woman Group, part of Motivate Publishing. Having joined the company a year ago, Lyndsey most recently held the position of Deputy Editor at Emirates Woman and will now utilise her 16 years of experience in the publishing and broadcasting sector in her new expanded role. Lyndsey has previously contributed to a spectrum of publications in the UAE including La Femme, The Rake, Indulge and The National, and will now be writing, editing and overseeing content for Emirates Woman, Emirates Woman Bride, Emirates Woman Mini and Harvey Nichols – Dubai magazines.

Motivate promotes Kerry McDermott

Motivate Publishing has promoted Kerry McDermott to Deputy Editor of the Emirates Woman Group. Having previously worked as Features Editor for What’s On and Good magazines, Kerry has experience covering everything from nightlife and restaurant reviews at What’s On, to food, lifestyle advice and interiors at Good. She has also contributed to Jumeirah Magazine.

In her new role, Kerry will oversee features content including interviews, as well as all things health and travel related. She will predominantly be working across, Emirates Woman Mini, Emirates Woman Bride and Harvey Nichols – Dubai magazines.

Alexandra Bull steps down at Motivate Publishing

Alexandra Bull is moving on from her position as Picture Editor for Emirates Woman Group. A part of the team since 2013, Alexandra has managed the picture desk across various titles including Emirates Woman, Emirates Bride and Emirates Woman Mini, as well as producing content for She now returns to Cape Town in South Africa, where she will work in custom publishing in an expanded role as Picture Editor and Designer working across print and digital.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure to work here at Motivate,” says Alexandra. “It’s a company which carries so much clout in the industry but still feels like a big family – one that I am definitely going to miss.”

Olivia Phillips joins Emirates Woman Group

Olivia Phillips has joined Emirates Woman Group as Fashion Features Editor. Olivia joins the team at Motivate Publishing from the UK, where she was Senior Fashion Assistant for Stylist magazine. In her new position, Olivia will edit all beauty and fashion pages across the Emirates Woman Group, as well as writing fashion features and news, developing feature ideas, conducting designer interviews, compiling shopping pages and contributing to the website.

Jade Sprowson promoted at Emirates Woman

Jade Sprowson has been promoted to Style Director of the Emirates Woman Group. Formerly Style Editor for the Group, Jade will now head up the fashion and beauty team for Harvey Nichols Dubai magazine and the Emirates Woman Group, which includes Emirates Woman mini, Emirates Bride and

New Beauty Editor for Arabia

Elizabeth Whiston-Dew has today joined as Beauty Editor. Formerly Beauty Editor of the Emirates Woman Group at Motivate Publishing, Elizabeth has spent the past three years working across titles such as Emirates Woman, Emirates Bride, Spend It and Luxe. Elizabeth will now oversee all beauty pages within Arabia, which is an English and Arabic language online magazine.

“I am delighted to be named the new beauty voice for, joining the task force of tastemakers at this pioneering publication,” says Elizabeth. “I will report daily on all things beauty, from pending trends to insider tips along with all the trinkets to propel our discerning readers to the next level of beautiful.”

Samantha Hamilton-Rushforth has been promoted to Beauty Editor of the Emirates Woman Group at Motivate Publishing. Previously Fashion & Beauty Editor of Hello! Magazine and before that, Fashion Writer & Stylist at OK! Magazine, Samantha brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Samantha fills the shoes of Elizabeth Whiston-Dew who leaves today to pursue other interests.

New Fashion & Beauty Editor at Hello!

Annah Cuthbert, former Assistant Online Editor at the Emirates Woman Group, has taken over as Fashion & Beauty Editor of Hello! Middle East.
