ShortList launches Creative Cover Wrap competition

To celebrate ShortList’s print launch in the UAE, the magazine is running an inter-agency competition to win a full cover wrap and a website home page takeover for one agency to win on behalf of a client. The cover wrap design deemed to best speak to ShortList readers – males and females aged between 20 and 45 – will be used on the ShortList issue scheduled for release on September 29, 2015. The last date for submissions is September 10, 2015, and the best cover wraps per agency will be showcased on www.ShortListDubai.com

Mary Katranzou to collaborate with Stylist Arabia

Fashion designer Mary Katrantzou has teamed up with Stylist Arabia magazine to guest edit a September issue of the weekly title. Enlisting the help of many of her friends, including make-up artists, models and philanthropists, Mary will be in charge of the issue, giving readers an exclusive sneak peak at her upcoming Spring/Summer 2016 collection. She will also be providing readers with her pick of products on the Style List and discussing the role of strong women in the fashion industry today, Mary will be joined on the cover by her long-term muse and supermodel, Yasmin Le Bon. The issue is scheduled for release on September 15, 2015.

“I am thrilled to be the Guest Editor of this issue of Stylist,” says Mary. “It has been an amazing experience to put my spin on a medium that I have never worked in before, and to challenge myself. Stylist presents such an important voice for modern women, so I wanted my issue to embrace this and celebrate women who have inspired me throughout my career.”

Architectural Digest to launch in the Middle East

Architectural Digest is set to launch in the Middle East in Spring 2015, announced today by Jonathan Newhouse, Chairman and Chief Executive of Condé Nast International. Published under license agreement with Arab Publishing Partners (APP), a division of ITP Publishing Group, this will be the eleventh edition of the magazine available globally.

Stylist Arabia announces launch party competition

Stylist Arabia has announced its ‘Show Us Your Shoes’ competition to win tickets to the launch party of the women’s weekly publication. For a chance to win tickets, those entering simply need to snap themselves in their favourite pair of shoes and tag @Stylist_Arabia on Instagram along with #StylistArabia by October 7, 2014, when the winners will be revealed. The Stylist Arabia launch party will be held on Wednesday October 8, while the magazine hits the newsstands on October 14, 2014.
