ArabianEye has announced that it will exclusively represent Magnum Photos in the MENA region. arabianEye, which has been established for over a decade, serves a range of global advertising and marketing agencies, corporations and media publishers.
In their new partnership, arabianEye will be in charge of distributing Magnum Photos’ extensive collection of editorial images to clients across the Middle East. Magnum Photos, founded in 1947, has a digital library with over half a million images, including archival images of the UAE dating back to the 1960s.
“It’s a great honour to have the opportunity to represent Magnum Photos in the MENA region,” says Greg Aslangul, General Manager, arabianEye. “They have a great roster of photographers boasting unique content offering incredible diversity. We feel that their addition to our portfolio greatly enhances our own editorial offering, giving a growing editorial market in the region even greater choice.”
Ruth Hoffman, Licensing Representative of Magnum Photos adds, “We are very excited to be working with arabianEye and thrilled that the work of our photographers will be available to a wider audience through their strong presence in the region. Magnum has had a long term presence in the UAE and Qatar in terms of both our archive which dates back to the 1940s, and in a cultural capacity particularly over the last few years.”
