ASDA’A Burson Marsteller partners with The Pearl Initiative

Dubai-based PR agency, ASDA’A Burson Marsteller (BM) has signed a Memorandum of Engagement (MoE) with The Pearl Initiative. Founded in 2010, The Pearl Initiative is a non-profit organisation that develops programmes and publishes regional research reports and case studies and aims to influence regional business. The agreement will work towards highlighting their commitment to enhance corporate accountability and transparency in the Gulf region.

ASDA’A Burson Marsteller wins PRWeek Global Award

ASDA’A Burson Marsteller secures SABRE Award

Dubai-based PR agency, ASDA’A Burson Marsteller (BM) has received the In2 (Innovation & Insight) SABRE Award for Thought Leadership in PR for its annual Arab Youth Survey. The agency will receive the award for its Arab Youth Survey 2017 at the international award ceremony that takes place on May 23, 2018 at the National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam. The agency will also be conducting their annual Arab Youth Survey for this year on May 8, 2018.

Burson Cohn & Wolfe appoints new President

Global communications agency, Burson Cohn & Wolfe (BCW) has appointed Sunil John to the role of President of its Middle East operations. Having founded ASDA’A Burson-Martseller in 2000, Sunil was most recently the agency’s CEO. In his new role, he will report to Donna Imperato, Chief Executive Officer of BCW and oversee the Middle East’s operations as an independent entity within the newly created global communications powerhouse.

ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller makes new appointment

Dubai-based PR agency, ASDA’A Burson Marsteller (BM) has appointed Erica Alkhfaji to the role of Head of Finance Practice. Erica previously worked with FTI Consulting as Managing Director and most recently with EKP Consulting as Executive Director, where she worked with brands such as PwC, writing trade-related research reports and digital content, and Google to conceptualise and implement innovative projects. In her new role, she will manage specialist PR services including investor relations and communications surrounding transactions, IPOs, and regulatory filings as well as drive new business growth and manage relationships with blue-chip clients in the financial sector.

ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller wins big at the Stevies 2017

ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller has been awarded the Grand Stevie Award at this year’s International Business Awards (IBAs). The awards, known as the Stevies aims to honour and recognise the achievements and positive contributions of companies and working professionals worldwide. This year’s awards saw ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller win five gold, 14 silver and nine bronze across the PR and marketing categories earning them the Grand Stevie Awards for their record. The awards ceremony and gala dinner will take place in Barcelona, Spain on October 21, 2017.

Ford MENA launches media platform

Ford Middle East and North Africa has launched a new platform to reach members of the media. The website aims to provide journalists with fast and easy access to region-specific industry news, model launches and CSR programme details in both languages, English and Arabic.

New appointment at TishTash

TishTash has welcomed Sandi Woodcock to the role of Senior Consultant. ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller has been awarded Public Relations Agency of the Year in the Middle East and Africa at the International Business Awards. The eighth Annual Arab Youth Survey 2016 also won PR Campaign of the Year and both awards are to be presented at the International Business Awards ceremony in Italy on October 21, 2016. The awards recognised the agency for its work in the Arab Youth Survey in the categories of; Reputation/Brand Management, Public Services and Global issues. ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller also received a ‘Grand Stevie’ award for the first time, for their record of 23 trophy wins and three medals at the International Business Awards.
