IAS Media appoints New Vice President

Dubai-based advertising company, International Advertising Services (IAS) Media has appointed Dana Ksaybi to the role of Vice President – Digital Division. With over six years of experience, Dana previously worked as Digital Solutions Specialist at Bayt.com, AMEinfo and most recently Thomson Reuters, where she provided digital solutions across the Reuters publications. In her new role, she will work closely with Vice President, Binu Matthew to handle the accounts for Reuters and The Washington Post with a focus on harnessing strategies and effective solutions to engage audiences with the regional titles.

Sarah Hedley Hymers joins Conde Nast Traveller

Conde Nast Traveller Middle East, part of APP Media Group has appointed Sarah Hedley Hymers to the role of Digital Director. With over 27 years of experience in journalism, Sarah previously worked with Ahlan! Group where she joined as Group Director and most recently held the position of Editorial Director. In her new role, she will oversee all digital operations for Conde Nast Traveller Middle East and develop creative strategies to execute across all digital platforms.

Grey Group promotes Nadim Khoury

Global communications agency, Grey Group MENA has promoted Nadim Khoury to the role of Chief Executive Officer. With over 24 years of experience, Nadim previously worked with Saatchi & Saatchi as Account Director before joining Grey Group as Account Director and most recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer. Nadim will take on his new role in Dubai, where he will report to Nirvik Singh, Chairman and CEO, Grey Group Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa and oversee the Grey Group’s operations across the MENA region.

TishTash welcomes Roxanne Mukhi

Dubai-based PR agency, TishTash has appointed Roxanne Mukhi to the role of Account Manager. With over five years of PR and marketing experience, Roxanne was most recently Communications Manager at COPIA Group. In her new role, she will work on the agency’s portfolio of beauty, health and wellness clients, which include Detox Delight, L’Atelier Aquafitness, The White Room Spa and Fressko.

Pinpoint makes new appointment

Dubai-based media company, Pinpoint Media Group has appointed Harshani Dinushika to the role of Marketing Assistant and Graphic Designer. A graduate from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing with Philosophy, Harshani most recently worked with Noviplus as Marketing Assistant. In her new role, she will join and assist Pinpoint Media’s marketing team as well as work on digital projects.

O2 welcomes new CEO

Dubai-based integrated communications agency, O2 has appointed Sami Eid to the role of CEO. With over 18 years of experience in marketing and communications, Sami previously worked with Orbit Communications Company, CNBC Arabia and most recently with Bloom Holding. In his new role, he will oversee all of O2’s communications activities and work towards the agency’s growth with a focus on its flexibility, expert analysis and progressive approach towards its clients’ needs.

Matt Fortune joins Jumeriah

Dubai-based luxury brand Jumeirah has appointed Matt Fortune to the role of Cluster Social Media Manager. With over ten years of experience, Matt previously worked with Motivate Publishing as Web Editor for What’s On magazine and most recently with ITP Media Group as Head of Digital Content for Time Out magazine. In his new role, he will lead the content and social strategy for hotels and restaurants in the brand’s Dubai.

Meltwater promotes Christo Van Wyk

Global media intelligence firm, Meltwater, has promoted Christo Van Wyk to the role of Area Director for India and the Middle East. With over eight years of experience, Christo joined Meltwater in 2009 as Client Relations Account Manager and was most recently Client Acquisition and Sales Consultant. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading Meltwater’s sales and customer service across the Middle East and India.

Votek makes new appointment

Dubai-based software company, Votek has appointed Joanna Cousins to the role of Head of Communications and Business Development. With over six years of experience in client relations and business development, Joanna previously worked with Provocateur and most recently with Vii Dubai. In her new role, she will be handling the account for educational toy business line, Loujee as well as overseeing the branding, advertising and PR product displays and photo shoots for Votek’s clients across the GCC.

TishTash makes new appointment

Marwa Mohamed has joined TishTash Marketing and Public Relations as PR Assistant. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications, Marwa launched her own blog, The Beauty Bunny in 2014. In her new role, she will support the team in consolidating press coverage, pitching for features as well as assist in events and social media content writing.
