Surena Chande joins BBC Good Food

BBC Good Food magazine, part of CPI Media Group, has welcomed Surena Chande to the role of Assistant Editor. Bringing over two years of experience in writing and editing to her new role, Surena will be responsible for planning and conceptualising content, writing, editing and proofing a range of articles as well as weekly newsletters and uploading website content.

“I’m thrilled to now be a part of the wonderful BBC Good Food team at CPI Media and look forward to the exciting upcoming challenges that this role will bring,” says Surena.

Ruth Bradley welcomes Elodie Le Bihan

Elodie Le Bihan has joined Ruth Bradley Consulting as an Account Manager. Having recently worked as PR Coordinator at Louis Vuitton, Elodie brings over three years of experience in PR and marketing to her new role. As Account Manager, she will be looking after Ruth Bradley Consulting clients such as Robert Wan, Hautletic and Baraboux.

ShortList welcomes Amany Saghir

ShortList UAE, an Arab Publishing Partners publication, has welcomed Amany Saghir to the role of Advertising Manager. Having previously worked as Advertising Manager at Cosmopolitan, Amany has over two years of experience in advertising as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration.

In her new role with ShortList UAE, Amany will be responsible for finding and selling creative solutions to clients both online and in print. She will also deal with ShortList’s international offices, as well as media agencies.

 

Alsayegh Media welcomes Michal Gasior

Emirati communications firm Alsayegh Media has welcomed Michal Gasior to the role of Digital Director. With over 12 years of international industry experience, Michal most recently worked as Digital Director at Agency 222 in Doha. In his new role with Alsayegh Media, he will lead key digital disciplines and offerings, driving digital strategies and recommending innovative approaches for the firm’s diverse client base.

Simon Thurston joins Alsayegh Media

Simon Thurston has joined Emirati communications firm Alsayegh Media as Senior Creative Copywriter. Having worked across a variety of industries, Simon has gained experience in the UK, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

In his new role, Simon will focus on strengthening creative content development for Alsayegh Media’s key clients in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including Abu Dhabi Education Council, Health Authority Abu Dhabi and Emerson Climate Technologies.

In her new role, Nouriah will be based in Kuwait and contributing to fashion and accessories news, interviews and shopping guides amongst other subjects.

Viceroy Hotel Group welcomes Kirsten Spence

Kirsten Spence has joined the Viceroy Hotel Group, Dubai as Director of Marketing and Communications. With over 10 years of experience in marketing and communications, Kirsten has worked for international hotel brands such as InterContinental and Jumeirah.

In her new role, Kirsten will form part of Viceroy’s leadership team in the UAE opening the Viceroy Dubai Palm Jumeirah resort. She will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring marketing and communications strategies, as well as coordinating media interest in the hotel.

FLC promotes Preeta Panicker

Dubai-based Marketing, Events and Model Management Agency, FLC has promoted Preeta Panicker to the role of Division Head – Events. Most recently, Preeta was Events and Marketing Manager, and she brings over 14 years of experience to her new role.

As Division Head – Events, Preeta will oversee the department’s growth, position FLC as a complete event solutions provider, grow the database of regional and international talent, and increase the number of large scale event executions on a regional level.

Ghaleb Zeidan heads Weber Shandwick Abu Dhabi

Ghaleb Zeidan, former Deputy Managing Director of Weber Shandwick in Abu Dhabi, has been promoted to Managing Director of the Twofour54-based agency. Having been with the company since 2010, the former journalist from Lebanon has successfully led a number of the agency’s largest accounts as well as having grown its government communications practice into the leading practice in the agency today.

Mona Motamedi has joined Gulf News Publishing as Events and Promotions Manager. Mona previously worked as an Account Manager at advertising agency Atom, and brings over 10 years of experience in marketing and events to her new role.

As Events and Promotions Manager, Mona will be responsible for events, promotions and marketing related to the branding of Gulf News Publishing titles such as AquariusInside OutAlphaWheels and Friday Magazine.
