Time Out Dubai gets a makeover
/0 Comments/in Regional News /by Emily Churchill-OwenWeekly, Dubai-based print publication, Time Out Dubai has been redesigned. The updated version of the magazine, part of ITP Publishing Group, will be available from September 16, 2015 from newsstands across the city. Launched in 2001 and headed up by Editor Mark Dinning, Time Out Dubai is a listings magazine that covers cultural and consumer life, with 43,000 copies distributed locally.
The magazine was redesigned in response to research into Time Out Dubai readers and will now include a minimum of 112 pages every week, with more features, reviews and photography, as well as additional insight into things to see and do in Dubai. The magazine will also now be distributed via Emirates departure gates for all Dubai-bound flights from London’s Heathrow airport. Time Out Dubai’s relaunch will be supported by a campaign across radio stations in the Emirate, as well as increased retail presence and an increase in distribution of the publication to residences, cafes, salons and events. In addition to the print magazine’s relaunch, a new-look website – www.timeoutdubai.com – will follow later in the year.
YogaLife Middle East welcomes new Art Director

Formerly a Marketing Designer for ITP Publishing Group, where she worked across 25 publications simultaneously, Zohra also has over four years of experience in marketing and public relations. As Art Director, Zohra will be responsible for the art directing and visualising of YogaLife Middle East in both its print and digital forms. She will cover brand development, digital and social media marketing, and creative direction for the magazine.
“YogaLife is very near to my own aspirations in life and meditational desires,” says Zohra. “I belong to a family and community where meditation is practiced each day and is considered a source of spiritual fulfilment. My upbringing and strong connection with my roots makes me extremely excited to join the wonderful concept that is YogaLife!”
Kate Hutchinson joins Grazia Middle East

Joining the team from Sydney, Australia where she was Editor of Peninsula Living and North Shore Living at Active Networks and, prior, writing for Grazia Australia Kate boasts over 10 years of experience in print publishing. In her new role, Kate will be supporting Grazia Editor-in-Chief Alison Tay to produce the fashion titles.
Time Out welcomes Matt Fortune

Matt most recently worked at Motivate Publishing as Web Editor for What’s On magazine, where he was responsible for overseeing all of What’s On’s digital content. In his new role, Matt will be responsible for overseeing content for all of Time Out’s digital platforms across the Middle East.

Samer Alloush joins OK! Middle East

Samer has previously worked as Senior Sales Manager at ITP Publishing Group for the last three and a half years, working across titles including Refining & Petrochemicals ME, Oil & Gas ME, Utilities ME as well as Oil & Gas Al Arabiya.
In his new role at OK! Middle East he will sell advertising space, set events plans, work to reach sponsorship targets and build long-term relationships with clients.
“I am excited to start on a new title and one that is completely different from my previous position,” says Samer. “I always believe that you should not be afraid of change and I look forward to this new opportunity.”
Hello! Middle East welcomes Group Picture Editor

Previously with the title as Picture Editor for almost two years from 2006 – 2008, Emma has since been a part of the ITP Publishing Group team, where she has held the position of Group Picture Editor. With Hello! Middle East recently acquired by Arab Publishing Partners, Emma will now oversee picture content for the three newly formed Hello! publications – Hello! Middle East, Hello! Arabia and Hello! Bollywood.
Hello! Middle East welcomes new Managing Editor

Previously Editor at Hello! Middle East, whilst under the umbrella of Motivate Publishing, Selina will now oversee the daily running of the coveted English language weekly.
A significant brand re-launch is scheduled for the second quarter of 2015 under APP, which will include the release of two new premium monthly titles – Hello! Arabia and Hello! Bollywood, extending the global reach of the Hello! brand to 33 editions worldwide.

Eddie Taylor is an editor, journalist and content specialist with close to two decades of experience in developing, launching and editing consumer titles. Having enjoyed senior publishing roles in London, New York, Amman and Dubai, Eddie was most recently Editor-in-Chief of Esquire Weekend.

Bloomberg Businessweek ME appoints new Editor

Formerly with ITP Publishing Group, Cathal was Editor for MEP Middle East since 2012 and brings to his new role a range of editorial experience, having previously been based in the UK working with the BBC and in online media before moving to the UAE. In his new position, Cathal will oversee the fortnightly English publication, which provides a compelling mix of local and international business, politics and social content.
