Instinctif Partners Middle East makes new appointments

International business communications consultancy, Instinctif Partners Middle East has made new appointments following its expansion. Rima Ali will take on the role of Senior Consultant having most recently worked with Hanover Middle East across clients such as Du, S&P Global and Dar Properties. In her new role, she will deliver strategic advice, manage content generation and provide media training for Instinctif Partners’ client network across the Middle East.

Also joining the team are Aashti Bawa and Rami Fahmi as Consultants. Aashti most recently worked with FTI Consulting, where she worked across a multifaceted communications offering for clients such as Bloomberg and Takaful Emarat. Rami, also worked with FTI Consulting, where he supported clients such as Manazel Real Estate and CFA Institute with corporate and financial services. In their new roles, they will work across Instinctif Partners’ portfolio of clients and manage the content as well as the media relations for the regional and international press.

Instinctif Partners welcomes Andrew Berridge

International communications consultancy, Instinctif Partners has appointed Andrew Berridge to the role of Consultant. With over ten years of experience in strategic communications, content management and new business generation, Andrew most recently worked with Auxilium as Account Manager. In his new role, he will work across Instinctif Partners’ portfolio of clients including Emirates NBD Asset Management and National Bank of Kuwait, to manage its English language content and media relations with the regional and international press. He will also be responsible for the client’s annual report content creation.

Instinctif Partners makes new appointments

International business communications consultancy, Instinctif Partners Middle East has welcomed David Thompson and Judecyll Eguia to its Dubai team following a regional expansion plan. With experience in journalism and previously a business-to-business magazine Editor at ITP Media Group, David has been appointed to the role of Consultant and will now manage the English language content and media relations for the regional and international press. Judecyll has experience in office management and generating new client leads as well as a background in government liaising and coordination. Taking up her new role as Account Manager, she will manage and work on developing communications strategies for Instinctif Partners’ portfolio of clients.

PRCA MENA announces award winners

PRCA MENA has announced the winners of its inaugural awards ceremony that took place on February 08, 2017. Hosted at the H Hotel Dubai, the awards ceremony honoured and recognised individuals, teams and campaigns from the PR and communications industry across the Middle East and North Africa.

Winners included Q Communications for Best B2C Campaign, Weber Shandwick for Best B2B Campaign, Volkswagen for Best Influencer Relations, Instinctif Partners for Best Crisis Campaign, Dubai Multi Commodities Center for Best Integrated Campaign, MCS Action for Best Media Relations Campaign, Brazen for Regional Campaign of the Year, Golin MENA for Results on a Budget, Matrix Public Relations for Small Consultancy of the Year and Seven Media for Large Consultancy of the Year. Bassem Ayache, Associate Manager at Golin MENA won the Rising Star of the Year award and Ziad Hasbani, Chief Executive Officer at Weber Shandwick was honoured as PR Leader of the Year.

New training academy launches

The Middle East arm of Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA MENA) has partnered with Instinctif Partners to launch its own training academy. The CPD-accredited programme aims to educate and update Middle East media professionals on new skills, practices and developments in the industry through face-to-face training as well as webinars.

Shortlist for ICCO Global Awards 2016 announced

The International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) has announced the shortlisted nominees for ICCO Global Awards 2016. Taking place on December 1, 2016 in London, the award nominees include Cohn & Wolfe for ‘Regional Network of the Year – EMEA’, Instinctif Partners for ‘Regional Independent Constultany of the Year – EMEA’ as well as House of Comms and Grayling for ‘World’s Best PR Campaign – Media Relations.’

“The ICCO Global Awards is an opportunity for the PR and communications industry to showcase the way in which the discipline can achieve real results through powerful outcomes,” says Charlene Corrin, General Manager, International Communications Consultancy Organisation. “An international jury reviews campaigns and teams from around the world, with a true focus on measurement and effectiveness. This year a number of campaigns were entered from the Middle East region, but the stand out work which has made the shortlist came from Grayling and House of Comms, both members of PRCA MENA.”

Ibrahim Mougharbel joins Instinctif Partners

Ibrahim Mougharbel has been appointed Senior Regional Consultant at Instinctif Partners. He will work on assignments across various markets including those in the UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman, specialising in real estate, oil and gas, healthcare, financial services, private sector growth companies and government relations.

Prior to joining Instinctif, Ibrahim worked with Edelman in the UAE as a Senior Account Manager, working with clients including Sky News Arabia, Mubadala and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB). He graduated from Saint Joseph University in Beirut with a BA in Business and Management.
