Having joined Cosmopolitan Middle East in February 2017 as Acting Editor-in-Chief, Kavita Srinivasan has now officially been appointed to the role of Editor-in-Chief. Kavita previously worked with Hello! Indo-Arabia as Editor-in-Chief and will now continue to hold the reins at Cosmopolitan Middle East and oversee all editorial content for the publication.
Following the recent announcement that local newspaper 7days will cease operations this month, more print titles have declared closure by the end of 2016. Falling under the umbrella of the ITP Publishing Group, homegrown women’s monthly, Viva will discontinue operations after more than 11 years in publication, with their final issue on news stands now. In addition, Arab Publishing Partners’ quarterly titles Hello! Arabia and Hello! Indo Arabia have ceased publishing.
Lena ter Laare has joined Emaar as Content and Publishing Manager of The Dubai Mall Magazine. Having previously worked as Editor in Chief of Good Housekeeping Middle East and launch phase Group Editor of Hello! Middle East, Hello! Indo-Arabia and Hello! Arabia at APP, Lena takes up her new role on The Dubai Mall publication that is published by Mediaquest.
