Sarah Jacotine has joined ITP as Editor of Logistics Middle East. Sarah previously worked in public relations as Account Manager at Aziza Communications, and prior to this as Communications Officer with Norwich City Council in the UK.
As Editor of the B2B magazine, Sarah will report on all aspects of the logistics industry in the region, including IT, warehousing, distribution and transportation.
Maryan Abdinur has joined Aziza Communications as PR Assistant. Maryan has previously worked on The Big Issue, Malawi, a street newspaper dedicated to fostering small enterprise and reporting on issues affecting lower income groups. In her new role, Maryan will oversee social media for all client accounts as well as support the PR team with daily workflow.

Aziza Communications has been appointed as PR representative for Don Alfonso 1890. The two-Michelin star Italian restaurant brand is due to open in mid-March in the Shangri-La hotel, Dubai, and is the fourth Don Alfonso 1890 restaurant to open, following launches in Macau, Marrakesh and Rome.

Luxury French perfume brand M.Micallef has appointed Aziza Communications as its PR representatives in the Middle East. The brand will launch its first Dubai boutique at the Grosvenor House hotel this November.

Aziza Communications has welcomed new team member, Sarah Jacotine, who joins the PR agency this week as Account Manager. Sarah, who has previously worked as both a journalist and PR in the UK, has recently moved to Dubai and this is her first role in the region. Sarah will be working across lifestyle brands including VOGUE Café, GQ Bar, Rami Al Ali, TONI&GUY and Tips & Toes.

Aziza Communications has secured the PR account for GQ Bar, Dubai. Under the umbrella of Condé Nast International Restaurants, and in partnership with local licensees Inspired Brands, GQ Bar is the second venture for the publishing giant in the region – the first being VOGUE Café at The Dubai Mall, which launched in May 2013. GQ Bar will be set within the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai and is due to launch in the final quarter of 2013.
