7DAYS launches content marketing studio

UAE Publisher 7DAYS has launched an in-house content marketing studio, DEEP, which offers advertisers a new approach to their marketing requirements. DEEP will provide brands with creative opportunities to share their stories with the 7DAYS audience and beyond.

“DEEP delivers the opportunity for brands to immerse themselves within 7DAYS content at many levels and across all channels,” says Charlotte Turner, Head of Content Marketing, 7DAYS. “By working collaboratively with commercial partners, DEEP will deliver a client’s desired result through creative, solution-based thinking. Using content to engage customers has become a must on any media schedule. It’s no longer about talking at the audience, it’s about starting conversations with them.”

Mark Rix, CEO, 7DAYS, adds “This is the perfect time to launch an in-house content studio and we are proud to be the first publisher in the UAE to do so. The rapid evolution of social media and in particular the voracious appetite for quality video content, has prompted the creation of this dedicated team to devise multi-platform content concepts that meet the objectives of commercial partners, while also aligning with 7DAYS own vision of engaging and inspiring communities.”

Caitlyn Davey joins 7DAYS

Caitlyn Davey has been appointed as Features Writer for 7DAYS newspaper. Prior to joining the team, Caitlyn was Section Editor for Time Out Abu Dhabi, where she took care of the beauty, shopping, community and food pages. In her new position, she will be responsible for writing features across the diary pages and Metro sections, pitching ideas, networking and attending press conferences.

“I’m really excited to be working with the team at 7DAYS – in a thriving country like the UAE, it’s a beautiful and fun place to work,” says Caitlyn. “There are always exciting things happening, interesting people and unusual events; it’s a great place to be a journalist…albeit occasionally waiting for a communication via pigeon-carrier.”

Tina Junday joins 7DAYS

Tina Junday has joined the 7DAYS team as Digital Content Editor. For the last 15 months, Tina was Features Editor and Acting Editor at Campaign Middle East, and prior to this worked as a Multimedia Journalist for Coventry Telegraph in the UK. As Digital Content Editor, Tina will manage and develop the editorial sections of the company’s digital platforms.

“I’m excited to be joining a media organisation which offers the most compelling and relevant content in the region and I welcome the challenge of growing our digital platforms,” says Tina. “I’m also looking forward to working with an incredibly talented team, including our social media manager, to generate a bigger online buzz for 7DAYS than ever before.”
