Georgina Enzer joins FinanceME

Georgina Enzer has joined CPI Financial as Editor of FinanceME. Georgina was previously Editor of Oil & Gas Middle East magazine, in charge of the editorial content for the publication and arabianoilandgas.com website, as well as overseeing the publication’s Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook accounts. In her new role, Georgina will drive all of the editorial content for the magazine which focuses on the SME finance sector in the Middle East, and will be the force behind an editorial redesign.

Christina Sang joins Insignia PR

Christina Sang has joined the Insignia PR team as Account Manager. Christina was previously with Esquire Financing Inc. in the Phillipines, where she set up the marketing team and managed business development initiatives.  Subsequently, she was appointed as Project Manager of the Office of the Chairman, and handled the Chairman’s private equity development projects. Prior to this, Christina worked for Emaar Hospitality Group with Armani Hotels and Resorts in Dubai, dealing with events in luxury, VIP and corporate segments, as well as spearheading the launch of At.mosphere for which she handled the communications and events.

Annie Turnell joins Insignia PR

Annie Turnell has joined Insignia PR as Account Executive. Prior to joining the team, Annie worked for BW&P, the executive search and selection company, recruiting specifically to the logistics and supply chain sector in the Middle East and South East Asia. Additionally, Annie previously operated in the retail market where she delivered client service for British clothing brand Jigsaw in the UK, before relocating to sister company Webster Holdings in Australia.

Reem Maroun joins Insignia PR

Reem Maroun has joined the Insignia PR team as Associate PR Director. Previously, Reem managed the PR for Midrar Investment Management Company in Jordan, and prior to this was with the ASDA’A Amman office on accounts that included Microsoft, Xpress Telecommunications, Miss Sixty and Visa International. Notably, Reem was pivotal to the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan, as part of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan’s Advance Protocol team.

Eva Glele joins Active PR

Eva Glele has joined Active PR as Account Director. Eva joins the team from London, where she previously worked for Regus, the multinational corporation providing flexible workspaces, and was responsible for the design and implementation of corporate communication strategy across 28 MEA countries. Eva brings with her over 10 years of experience in domestic and global PR strategies in both agency and in-house roles, having worked across a range of B2B and B2C sectors.

Jenny Fajutag joins Taj Palace Hotel Dubai

Jenny Fajutag has been appointed as Marketing and Communications Manager for the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai. Jenny joins the Deira-based hotel from the Jumeirah Group where she was Marketing and PR Communication Executive, and in her new role, she will be promoting the Taj Palace Hotel as an active supporter of local events as well as a business and leisure hotel of choice for regional and international visitors.

Laura Coughlin to leave Explorer

Explorer Editor Laura Coughlin has announced she will leave the title this week, with her last working day being tomorrow. Laura will stay in the Emirates and will be announcing her new role within the publishing sector shortly.

Previous Sales Director for ITP Publishing, Wissam will now act as Director for Entrepreneur Middle EastEntrepreneur Qatar and Entrepreneur AlArabiya and and will be corporately and commercially responsible for other company interests.

Amit Kakkar joins ENVOGUE Events Management

For the previous four years, Amit has worked as Senior Manager at The Times of India in New Dehli, and in his new role, he will be involved in events-related consultancy, event planning and handling key PR accounts.
