The Chedi Muscat welcomes Lore Koenig

Lore Koenig has joined The Chedi Muscat as Executive Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. With over thirteen years of experience in sales and marketing, Lore previously worked for The Chedi Muscat between 2004 – 2010 as Director of Sales and Marketing. Most recently, she was Director of Sales at Kerzner International in Germany, overseeing brands such as Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas, Atlantis The Palm, Dubai and Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort. In her new role, Lore will be responsible for the overall strategic sales, marketing and communication of the hotel locally, regionally and internationally.

Zahraa Al-Saffar joins House of Comms

Zahraa Al-Saffar has joined House of Comms Integrated Communications as Digital Client Services Director. With over six years of experience in digital marketing and communications, Zahraa has worked across brands such as propertyfinder.ae, McLaren Automotive and The Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. In her new role, she will work with clients across the GCC in structuring and delivering digital marketing solutions, to offer an integrated approach to communications.

Hilton welcomes Stephen Cordebas

Hilton Hotels & Resorts Dubai has welcomed Stephen Cordebas to the role of Cluster Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager. Previously Stephen worked as Assistant Marketing and PR Manager for One&Only Resorts in Dubai and he has over five years of international experience in marketing. In his new role, Stephen will be overseeing all marketing and PR for all three Hilton Hotels in Dubai: Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Resort, Hilton Dubai The Walk and Hilton Dubai Creek.

CNN welcomes Inga Thordar

Inga Thordar has joined CNN as Editorial and Programming Director, Digital International, where she will be overseeing the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) based digital news and sports team. She joins CNN from the BBC, where she worked as Senior Editor, leading a number of editorial teams. Inga will be based in the network’s London bureau and will oversee all digital news and sports output. She will also manage, coordinate and communicate the content flow of all other digital units, including CNN’s Hong Kong team, and will report to Andrew Demaria, Vice President and Managing Editor, CNN Digital International.

“Inga has deep experience in setting and driving an editorial agenda,” says Andrew. “She understands both journalists and technical staff, and has delivered some outstanding multi-media original and distinctive journalism. She’ll be a fantastic asset to the news team across our platforms.”
