Motivate Publishing promotes Laura Coughlin

Motivate Publishing has promoted Laura Coughlin to the role of Associate Editor of What’s On Dubai magazine. Laura joined Motivate two years ago and most recently held the position of Deputy Editor of What’s On Dubai. In her new role she will be responsible for writing, editing and overseeing content for What’s On Dubai as a whole, as well as any supplements or guides produced under the title.

GN Publishing welcomes Advertising Sales Manager

Sara Al Thani has joined GN Publishing as Advertising Sales Manager for CitizenK Arabia and CitizenK Homme Arabia. Having previously worked for ITP Publishing as Advertising Manager for Harpers Bazaar Arabia, Sara has over four years of experience in Advertising and Sales. In her new role, she will be handling all sales opportunities for the luxury print publications

Core Savills welcomes PR & Communications Manager

Real estate company Core, the UAE associate of Savills, has welcomed Gavin Gibbon to the role of PR & Communications Manager. Previously the PR Editor at OSN where he compiled the monthly staff newsletter, assisted with the production of press releases and helped to organise PR events, Gavin brings over 17 years of experience with him to his new role. As PR & Communications Manager, he will be working to ensure that Core is the go-to source for media organisations in Dubai, the GCC and further afield, when it comes to expert comment on the local real estate industry.

Performance welcomes new Communications Director

Performance Communications Middle East has welcomed digital expert Peter Ganney to the role of Communications Director. With over 10 years of experience, Peter has developed and executed campaigns for globally recognised brands and since arriving in the GCC in 2012, he has worked with clients such as Uber, Aston Martin and the Qatar Olympic Committee. In the newly created role of Communications Director, Peter will manage the operational side of Performance Communications Middle East agency, with an emphasis on assisting clients to communicate their messages across digital and social media channels.

Bareface welcomes new Marketing Executive

Bareface has welcomed Hannah Taylor to the role of Marketing Executive. Previously Communications Manager for sophiescloset.com where she handled all aspects of PR, marketing and social media for the brand, Hannah brings over four years of experience in media to her new role. As Marketing Executive, she will now be responsible for all online and offline marketing, social media campaigns, PR and internal communications for Bareface.

H+K Strategies welcomes Digital Director

H+K Strategies Middle East and Africa has welcomed Gareth Talbot to the role of Digital Director. Gareth was previously Head of Digital at Bell Pottinger Middle East, where he worked alongside the existing PR offering to implement best practices and deliver improved results across a range of sectors and clients. As Digital Director, he will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of client accounts with an emphasis on retaining and expanding current client business, providing strategic counsel to senior client contacts. He will also aid senior management with staff selection and the development of junior staff, as well as assist line managers in new business efforts.

TishTash welcomes new Account Executive

TishTash has welcomed Dalal Al Sadhan to the role of PR Account Executive. Having previously worked at WSF Creative in Dubai as a PR Executive across a number of luxury clients including Singer Porsche Design Car, Jaguar, Land Rover and Chopard, Dalal also has experience with Khaleejesque magazine and Medium Rare Marketing and Advertising. H+K Strategies promotes Iman Issa

H+K Strategies had promoted Iman Issa to the role of Deputy General Manager, Dubai. Formerly Group Account Director, Lead on Corporate and Technology, where she was responsible for securing new business, team motivation, creative campaigns and overall division performance, Iman has over 10 years of experience in PR and communications. As Deputy General Manager of the Dubai office, she will be co-responsible for driving new business and talent development across the division, as well as leading accounts and teams in delivering creative programs across the corporate and technology practice.

OSN welcomes new PR Editor

 

Orbit Showtime Network (OSN) has welcomed Benita Adesuyan to the role of PR Editor. Previously the Sports and Outdoors, Community and Film Editor at Time Out Dubai, part of ITP Publishing, Benita has over eight years of experience in journalism. In her new role, she will be working with OSN’s in-house PR team and PR agency to promote the network, its channels, entertainment services content and talent. Benita will also work on OSN publicity events, media enquiries and new partnerships.
