RBBi appoints new CEO

Digital marketing agency, Red Blue Blur Ideas (RBBi) has promoted Caroline Dickin to the role of CEO. With over 12 years of experience in the digital and marketing sectors, Caroline joined RBBi in 2014 as Director of Media and most recently held the role of Managing Director – Performance Marketing and Analytics, where she drove a widespread digital transformation agenda across the UAE. In her new role, she will be responsible for the continuous growth and development of the agency and will report directly to RBBi’s board of directors, which includes the company’s founders, Devesh Mistry and Amol Kadam.

Active DMC makes new promotion

Dubai-based agency, Active (Digital. Marketing. Communications) has promoted Yasser Zeriz to the role of Senior Account Executive. Having joined Active DMC in 2015, Yasser previously held the role of Account Executive, where he grew and supported the team in Arabic media relations. In his new role, he will continue to work with the team and take a deeper role in client management as well as digital strategy.

Pinpoint Media Group welcomes Rob Chilton

Rob Chilton will be continuing his role as Editor of Edgar Middle East after Pinpoint Media Group’s recent acquisition of Lux Media Group. Having joined the magazine in 2015, Rob oversaw its print and online editions, and also represented the title during a weekly radio slot on Dubai Eye. Rob will continue to work across Edgar Middle East’s print, digital and radio platforms, covering men’s fashion, restaurants, watches, travel, sport, film, grooming, motoring and culture.

Tonic International appoints new Managing Director

Dubai-based independent creative agency, Tonic International has promoted Jacqui Hewett to the role of Managing Director. Having joined Tonic International in 2015 as General Manager – Media, Jacqui worked on transforming the agency’s media division into a fully-fledged digital operation. In her new role, she will oversee Tonic International’s group of companies across all departments, including branding, communications, digital and media, ensuring everyone works in an integrated way as one team. She will also manage the agency’s new focus and strategy to further build digital capabilities that will deliver a fully immersive experience for the clients and consumers.

Rachel Lewis gets promoted at markettiers

Broadcast and specialist agency, markettiers has promoted Rachel Lewis to the role of Account Manager. Having joined markettiers in 2017, Rachel most recently held the role of Senior Account Executive, where she supported the team with creative consultancy and worked with both PR agencies and clients across key projects such as the Guinness World Record breaking live stream for Al Marjan Island over New Year’s Eve. In her new role, she will be responsible for delivering quality video content and harnessing both agency and direct client relationships to deliver outstanding broadcast campaigns with content at their heart. She will also produce live streams, video news content, directing as well as managing film shoots and creating video content that mobilises audience behaviour and delivers a tangible ROI for clients.

Bruce Clay ME appoints new Managing Director

Dubai-based digital marketing agency, Bruce Clay Middle East (BCME), has promoted Neal Patel to the role of Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa. Having joined the agency in 2016 as Head of Digital, Neal has over ten years of experience in the digital sector and has worked across clients within digital spaces, focusing on acquisition, retention and conversion for multiple verticals and territories. In his new role, he will lead the growth of the team and maintain the services provided to the existing clients, including Johnson & Johnson, LG Electronics and Apparel Group.

Brazen expands Dubai team

Dubai-based PR agency, Brazen has made two new appointments and one promotion following its expansion. Bronte Saulle has been appointed to the role of Account Executive, bringing with her experience in journalism and events planning. In her new role, she will look after the press office for clients including, The Walt Disney Company MENA and Atlantis, The Palm. Also joining the team is Noha Ghobrial, who will take the role of Social Media Executive, having previously worked across several F&B brands and most recently with Rotana Cinema TV. In her new role, she will look after social media for brands such as Wendy’s and Disney On Ice.

Basma Emad has also been promoted internally to the role of Senior Account Executive having most recently held the role of Account Executive, where she handled Arabic media and influencers. In her new role, she will continue work across the clients’ portfolio and provide support to generate results.

New joiner at House of Comms

Dubai-based integrated communications agency, House of Comms has appointed Paula Peralta to the role of Account Executive. With over three years of experience across consumer lifestyle and corporate brands, Paula most recently worked with agencies in the UK and with accounts such as Brand USA, Philippines Department of Tourism and World Land Trust. In her new role, she will work with clients and support the team on campaigns within the UAE.

Grayling appoints new Design Director

Global communications firm, Grayling has appointed Sajid Shafique to the role of Design Director. With over 20 years of experience in brand strategy, identity design and brand touchpoint design, Sajid worked with brands such as Fitch, Brand Union and Landor Associates before starting his own consultancy, BrandNew. In his new role, he will work closely with the team to create a new brand identity design for the Dubai Show Jumping Championship and develop as well as identify new business opportunities to expand the GCreative portfolio while directing the client services teams on branding, design and digital projects.

INTEGR8 welcomes May Ghazawneh

Dubai-based creative agency, INTEGR8 has appointed May Ghazawneh to the role of Senior Account Planner. With nine years of experience in marketing and communications, May most recently held the role of Project Analyst at Jawwal, where she worked across the branding, advertising and project management of the company. In her new role, she will oversee the direction of INTEGR8’s largest account, the Mall of Palestine and be involved in the overall campaign and budget planning process.
