Dubai-based communications consultancy, COPIA Group has undergone a full rebrand as a part of the firm’s long-term positioning plan across the region. The relaunch includes a brand new website as well as a more focused direction on crafting creative content and experiences from across the region. The direction of the firm will also focus on its local presence and global network surrounding lifestyle as a core of its portfolio of brands and to position as well as communicate to relevant platforms.

PR professional Scarlett Sykes has launched new communications consultancy, Lottie Communications, in the UAE. With over ten years of experience in publishing, e-commerce, marketing, PR and digital communications, Scarlett previously worked with The Grooming Company as PR and Marketing Executive in-house, as Fashion and Beauty Writer at Emirates Woman and Hello! magazines, and most recently with COPIA Group as Director, where she worked across international and regional brands as well as concepts. The new Dubai-based agency will offer services that include campaign and concept development, media relations, strategic partnerships, digital communication management, copywriting and content creation to clients across the UAE.
“Giving up your job to go out alone is a very daunting thought, but I have had so much support since I made the decision and following the launch announcement, it has made the leap much easier,” says Scarlett. “I am very excited to see what the future holds.”
To Be announced (TBA), a creative solutions provider, founded by Mahmoud El Abed, has launched. With over seven years of experience, Mahmoud, previously worked with Addmind Group as PR Manager and most recently with COPIA Group as Communications Manager where he worked in client servicing and created marketing and PR strategies for clients. The new agency will operate from UAE and Lebanon with the aim to offer tailored strategies by forging relationships and delivering personalised services to clients.

Communications and luxury lifestyle management company COPIA has won the account to manage all PR for international footwear brand Havaianas in the region. The company aims to strategically boost the brands image within the GCC. The footwear brand produces over 150 million pairs of its famous flip-flops every year, globally.
