BIEN magazine now live online

Imperial Publishing has introduced the online version of its soon-to-be-launched beauty magazine BIEN. Offering a daily dose of beauty news, reviews, interviews and features, topics may range similar to the print publication, but bien.ae will provide sample opportunities where readers can try beauty products, services and tools in sample sizes for free. In exchange, readers will write their own reviews in order to gain access to more samples in the future.

The print version of BIEN will be available bi-monthly from March 2015, covering a wide range of topics dedicated to beauty specifically for UAE consumers. BIEN will be distributed in all beauty centres, spas, hospitals, offices, coffee shops, universities, nurseries, fashion shops and lounges across the UAE.

POST magazine officially launches

POST, a magazine tailored to the diplomatic corps in the UAE, Qatar and the Middle East region, has officially launched as of last week. Published by Imperial Publishing, the bimonthly magazine features articles on foreign affairs, diplomacy, history, culture, arts, as well as retail advice on lifestyle, travel and fashion. With a circulation of 5,000 complimentary copies, POST is available across consulates, embassies, business clubs, partner hotels and chamber of commerce offices.

“The region receives a number of publications targeting various groups, with the exception of the diplomatic community,” says Geronimo Imperial, Publisher, Imperial Publishing. “POST was envisioned to help create a stronger network within the corps in the region by nurturing a channel where members of the corps could become better linked and informed. The main readers of this magazine are very dynamic. Aside from taking care of their expatriates, they also tend to their national interests. Delegations of heads of states, politicians, businessmen and even celebrities come and go, and POST shall be at the core of these activities.”

Sherry Tenorio moves on from Arabian Woman

Sherry Tenorio is moving on from her position as Senior Editor of Arabian Woman magazine. With publication of the magazine to be put on hold, Sherry will now be involved with a host of publications, taking on the role of Editor-in-Chief for Post magazine, a newly-launched lifestyle magazine dedicated to the diplomatic community in the UAE and Qatar, where she will oversee the editorial management of the publication. In addition to this, Sherry will take charge of luxury lifestyle and fashion title, Velvet magazine as the Resident Editor for fashion and beauty, and will contribute relevant content. Finally, as Co-Founder and Editor of online fashion and lifestyle portal, La Moda Dubai, Sherry will continue to be involved in editorial planning, writing, styling shoots and marketing.

“I’ve learned so much from my stint at Arabian Woman,” says Sherry. “I met a lot of amazing people, went to different and beautiful places, and experienced new things – I’m very grateful for having had the privilege of working for the magazine. Arabian Woman to launch online

Arabian Woman has announced it will launch an online edition by the end of 2013. After fourteen years as a front-runner in the Saudi Arabian consumer magazine market, and with a presence across the wider GCC,  the magazine is taking steps forward to compete in the ever-competitive magazine market. With a fresh new look – unveiled in the August issue – a new Dubai Media City office, and a new Editor, things are certainly shaping up.

“The Arabian Woman website is currently under development and we’re hoping to launch it within the next couple of months,” says Senior Editor, Sherry Tenorio. “We understand the importance of having a strong online presence, as well as interactive social media platforms.
