The Sustainabilist launches online platform 

UAE-based monthly magazine, The Sustainabilist launches its online platform. Launched one year ago, the print magazine has been a voice on sustainable issues for private and public sectors while also being the official sustainability magazine at the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX). The new online medium offers the latest news, interviews and editorial features across all sustainable topics and aims to work as a way to help connect the public to the media to contribute their own stories and ideas to the editor.

“As the most widely read green economy publication in the region, The Sustainablist is designed to educate, stimulate and encourage readers to invest in a sustainable future,” says Ivano Iannelli, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Carbon. “Launching our online platform will ensure that we reach even more readers across the private and public sector, as well as engaging with the public on key sustainability issues that affect us all, and the solutions available to help us live a greener life.”

Plus 1 makes new appointment

Integrated communications agency, Plus 1 Communications has appointed Jenna Stirland to the role of Account Manager. With over six years of experience in PR, Jenna previously worked across brands such as Nouveau Lashes and Kryolan Professional Make-up in the UK, before moving to Dubai and most recently working across projects such as Dubai Food Festival and the launch of Dubai Opera. In her new role, she will focus on managing clients in the beauty, education and entertainment sectors.

House of Comms appoints Senior Account Director

Integrated communications agency House of Comms has appointed Tryphena Greenwood to the role of Senior Account Director. With over nine years of experience in the MENA region as well as Europe, Tryphena most recently worked at ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller where she worked across accounts such as Dubai Parks and Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts ME and The Walt Disney Company MENA. In her new role, she will work across a number of House of Comms key PR accounts, reporting directly to the agency’s managing partners.
