CPI launches online technology platform

CPI Media Group has launched online technology platform, Tahawultech.com. The new platform will cover stories from the technology industry as well as offer technology decision makers and business leaders across the region an online forum to express their opinions and share stories about the industry. Tahawultech.com will also include CPI’s online technology publications such as, Computer News Middle East (CNME), Reseller Middle East and Security Advisor Middle East to create a digital home for readers across the region granting them access to the latest news, data and analysis under one platform.

CPI Media Group welcomes Kausar Syed

CPI Media Group has welcomed Kausar Syed to the role of Group Sales Director – Technology & Finance divisions. Kausar recently worked for ITP Publishing as Group Sales Manager, where she was responsible for delivering targets for six IT publications and ITP.net. She brings over seven years of media sales experience in the region to her new role at CPI Media Group.

As Group Sales Director for CPI’s Technology & Finance division, Kausar will formulate business strategies to achieve sales targets as well as build and maintain customer relationships across CPI publications such as CNME, CFO Magazine and Reseller ME with diversified marketing options covering print/online and events opportunities across the region.

“I am enthused to be joining CPI Media Group,” says Kausar. “I have been working in the technology industry for several years shaping strong business relationships and I can’t wait to build on these with commitment and dedication in my new role.”

Ben Rossi bids farewell to CNME

Computer News Middle East (CNME) Editor Ben Rossi bids farewell to CPI Media Group and its flagship magazine title this week as he prepares to leave Dubai for his new editorial role in London. Ben joined CNME – the Middle East’s leading technology publication – as Sub Editor in January 2012 and was promoted to Editor in August 2012 at the age of 23. This Thursday will mark his last day at the title.

Ben commences his new role as Editor of Information Age print magazine and online publication on November 4, 2013. Information Age is the UK’s leading monthly IT publication.

“I owe a lot to CPI for giving me the opportunity to be the editor of its flagship magazine at such a young age,” says Ben. “It was a great honour being able to put my stamp on a brand and title as superb as CNME. CPI is a fantastic publisher to work for and it will be very sad leaving having made some great friends at the company. I’ve had a terrific time in the Middle East, but am now looking forward to my new challenge at Information Age in London.”
