Grazia Middle East has launched its new digital platform, The new website aims to deliver a mix of fashion, beauty, celebrity news and luxury content directly to its audience, complementing its print and social media channels for a complete 360 conversation. The new website will also feature a combination of editorial and ecommerce, with Grazia Shop that will enable readers to shop covetable curations by the Grazia team as well as host takeovers by a coterie of Instagram celebrities and selected brands.

The new website will be lead by Olivia Phillips, Deputy Editor of Grazia Middle East. She will oversee the content and contribute strategies for the growth of the digital platform.

“This is an emotional day for Grazia Middle East,” says Alison Tay, Editor-in-Chief, Grazia Middle East. “We’re so excited to offer our readers more ways to connect with and contribute to conversations about how we can all make a difference in the world and to extend the brand’s reach further in the GCC.”

Following the breaking news surrounding Princess Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz’s departure from her position as Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Arabia, all questions point to who is next in line for the top spot. TMN lists out seven worthy contenders for the throne…

  1. Sofia Guellaty: Previously Editor-in-Chief of Arabia, also part of Nervora Publishing, Sofia has extensive experience in luxury fashion titles and is well known for discovering and honing creative Middle Eastern talent.
  1. Manuel Arnaut: Currently Editor-in-Chief of Architectural Digest Middle East, Manuel’s flair for fashion and style and association with one of Condé Nast International’s most reputed titles makes him a strong – and – likely candidate for the role.
  1. Rhea Saran: Previously Associate Editor and Features Editor of GQ India, Rhea was appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Condé Nast Traveller Middle East in September 2013. Renowned fashion journalist, Suzy Menkes may know something that we don’t… Rhea featured not once, but twice on Suzy’s Instagram over the past month.
  1. Ritu Upadhyay: Middle East Correspondent for Women’s Wear Daily for over 10 years, Ritu is well-versed with the Middle East and global fashion landscape, as well as the business and retail side of the industry.
  1. Louise Nichol: Editor-in-Chief of luxury women’s glossy, Harper’s Bazaar Middle East – which runs neck-to-neck with Vogue Arabia – Louise is an obvious choice and a more than able candidate for the role.
  1. Esther Quek: Previously Fashion and Beauty Director at APP for Rake Middle East, Revolution Middle East and Condé Nast Traveller Middle East and currently Editor-in-Chief of Citizen K Arabia, Esther is a well-known personality on the national and international luxury fashion scene.
  1. Alison Tay: Currently Editor-in-Chief of Grazia Middle East, Alison is a regular on the FROW at all the major fashion weeks. With decades of experience in fashion writing, styling and presenting, she’s an obvious candidate for the role.

Grazia Middle East goes live

Women’s weekly publication, Grazia Middle East, part of ITP Publishing Group will be going live at Dubai Festival City from November 4 – 12, 2016. The editorial team will host a week-long event at the mall, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the different elements of magazine creation for their special live issue.

Kate Hutchinson joins Grazia Middle East

ITP Publishing Group has welcomed Kate Hutchinson to the role of Deputy Editor, Grazia Middle EastGrazia Arabia and Grazia Luxury. Joining the team from Sydney, Australia where she was Editor of Peninsula Living and North Shore Living at Active Networks and, prior, writing for Grazia Australia Kate boasts over 10 years of experience in print publishing. In her new role, Kate will be supporting Grazia Editor-in-Chief Alison Tay to produce the fashion titles.

Grazia Middle East welcomes new Assistant Editor

Shitika Anand has been appointed as the Assistant Editor for Grazia Middle East. A freelance journalist with extensive experience across the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industry, Shitika has been published in Forbes Travel, The Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan, Instyle, CNN International and Women’s Health magazine, to name but a few.

Prior to joining the ITP Publishing team, Shitika was based in London where she held the positions of Fashion Assistant for SHOP magazine as well as Editorial Freelancer at Women’s Wear Daily, additionally managing the role of remote Managing Editor and Social Media Manager for Australia-based online platform Shitika’s expansive knowledge will now be applied to her new position with the weekly lifestyle publication, led by Editor-in-Chief Alison Tay.

Grazia Middle East welcomes new Deputy Editor

Grazia Middle East has welcomed Elle Blakeman as its new Deputy Editor. Joining the team from London, Elle brings an impressive range of editorial experience to her new role, having worked at a number of publications including Marie Claire, InStyle and Harper’s Bazaar. Prior to joining Grazia Middle East, Elle was with Runwild Media Group where she was Editor for monthly luxury lifestyle title The Mayfair Magazine and The Mayfair Magazine Arabic, overseeing and planning across the magazine in addition to being heavily involved in developing its shape, from tone to layout.

In her new position, Elle will be supporting Editor-in-Chief Alison Tay to produce the weekly luxury fashion title.

Alison Tay joins Grazia Middle East

Alison Tay has joined ITP Publishing Group as Editor-in-Chief of Grazia Middle East. Having previously held the role of Style Editor at British celebrity weekly Now magazine, Alison brings over 15 years of experience interviewing and styling international celebrities, a nomination for Fashion Journalist of the Year 2014 by UK’s industry portal Fashion Monitor, and her expertise as TV opinionista for BBC News,  ITV1, Sky News and Channel 4.

Alison joins the team to head up the Grazia portfolio of titles across the Middle East, taking in Grazia Middle East, Grazia Bahrain and Grazia Luxury.
