Carolina Herrera is a passionate woman, animated by a desire to lead women into a world of refined luxury and elegance. In order to fulfill that passion and desire, in 1981, at the age of 42, after having raised a family, she decided to present her first fashion collection in New York. In 1987, Puig signed an agreement with Carolina Herrera for creating and marketing her fragrances: the first perfume born of this agreement would be “Carolina Herrera”, in 1988.
