House of Comms Relocates

Dubai-based communications agency House of Comms has relocated its headquarters to Motor City. Established in 2012, the agency offers an integrated approach to communications, working with a number of brands across the region with a focus on key influencer outreach combined with media and digital strategies.

Havas welcomes new Communications Executive

Former Local Editor of Lepetitjournal.com, Sarah Bernolet, has joined Havas Worldwide Middle East as Communications Executive. Sarah brings over three years of media experience to her new role, in which she will be joining Havas’ fashion and gift team, handling all aspects of PR for three art de vivre brands: Christofle, Baccarat and Lladro.

“Joining such a prestigious agency as Havas is obviously a great opportunity,” says Sarah. “I hope that coming from an editorial background I will bring some helpful insights about what journalists really want.”

 

Young & Rubicam welcome new Account Manager

Global marketing and communications company Young & Rubicam has welcomed Jad Fares to the role of Account Manager. With two years of experience in media, Jad previously worked as an Account Executive at MadCom, in Dubai. In his new role, Jad will be utilising his knowledge of shopper marketing and brand activations as a part of the Young & Rubicam Labstore team, where he will be researching shopper mindsets in order to come up with creative concepts to attract and engage target markets.

“I joined Young & Rubicam Labstore because I fell in love with the brands from a consumer’s perspective, so it’s amazing to work on them in the capacity of a shopper marketing specialist,” says Jad. “Each of the brands are well-known and admired and I just can’t wait to dive in.”

Alamy partners with arabianEye

Dubai-based creative resource arabianEye had secured a new partnership with Alamy to represent their image and footage library in the MENA region. The new partnership will give arabianEye clients access to more than 60 million new images, arabianEye will also be adding Alamy’s MENA-relevant content to their website.
